- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup almonds
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast almonds lightly in a dry pan.
- Add basil, almonds, garlic, salt, and pepper to a food processor.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending.
- Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
- Blend briefly until combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Serve immediately or store in a jar.
Notes
