Description

This Best Strawberry Spinach Salad is a vibrant, fresh, and heartwarming dish featuring baby spinach, juicy strawberries, crunchy toasted pecans, creamy feta, and a homemade balsamic-honey dressing. Quick to prepare and perfect for family meals, brunches, or light lunches.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh baby spinach, washed and dried
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans, lightly toasted
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the spinach. Slice strawberries and red onion. Crumble feta.
  2. Toast pecans in a dry skillet 3–5 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.
  3. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper for dressing.
  4. In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, red onion, and pecans. Drizzle dressing and toss gently.
  5. Sprinkle feta on top before serving.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor. Toast pecans lightly to enhance nutty aroma. Store salad components separately for up to 2 days. Optional: add grilled chicken or shrimp for a main course.
