Description

Cheesy Chicken Parmesan is a cozy, comforting classic with golden crispy chicken topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Perfect for family dinners and cozy nights at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts to ½ inch thickness.
  2. Set up flour, egg, and breadcrumb stations.
  3. Dredge chicken: flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Fry chicken 3–4 min per side until golden.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Spread sauce in baking dish, place chicken, top with more sauce and mozzarella.
  7. Bake 15–20 min, then broil 2–3 min for golden top.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.

Notes

Use panko for extra crunch. Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying. Broil briefly for golden cheese. Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days and reheat in oven for best texture.
