- 300g fresh cherries (pitted)
- 3 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 250ml whole milk
- 30g melted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C and butter baking dish.
- Spread cherries evenly in dish.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until light.
- Add vanilla and melted butter.
- Add flour and salt, mix smoothly.
- Slowly add milk while whisking.
- Pour batter over cherries.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and dust with sugar.
Notes
You can swap cherries for other seasonal fruits like plums or berries. Best served warm. Store in fridge for up to 3 days.
