- 2 large chicken breasts, halved
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Slice and pound chicken breasts evenly.
- Prepare flour, egg, and breadcrumb mixtures.
- Coat chicken in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
- Fry in olive oil until golden brown.
- Place in baking dish and top with marinara sauce.
- Add mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake at 200°C for 15–20 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch. You can substitute mozzarella with provolone for a deeper flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
