Description

I bake this Chocolate Cake for Birthday as a rich, moist, and deeply chocolatey celebration cake layered with creamy frosting, perfect for making unforgettable birthday memories with family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 1 cup butter (frosting)
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder (frosting)
  • 1/3 cup milk (frosting)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C and grease pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla and mix.
  4. Stir in hot coffee until smooth.
  5. Pour into pans evenly.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before frosting.
  8. Beat butter and mix frosting ingredients.
  9. Layer cake with frosting and decorate.
  10. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Use hot coffee for richer flavor. Do not overmix batter. Store in airtight container for up to 5 days. You can freeze cake layers for later use.
