Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • Sliced bananas
  • Mini marshmallows (optional)
  • Nutella or chocolate spread
  • Greek yogurt or whipped cream
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Chopped nuts
  • Shredded coconut or chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Cook waffles in waffle iron until golden.
