Description

Classic Cinnamon Rolls are soft, fluffy, and filled with a sweet cinnamon-sugar center. Perfect for family breakfasts or cozy brunches, these rolls are topped with a creamy cream cheese glaze for the ultimate comfort treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast (7g)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar.
  2. Mix in butter, egg, salt, and flour to form dough.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until doubled.
  4. Roll dough into rectangle; spread butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Roll tightly and slice into 12 rolls. Place in baking dish and let rise again.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients; drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

Use warm milk (not hot) to avoid killing yeast. Second rise ensures soft, fluffy rolls. Add nuts or raisins for variation. Store airtight; reheat for best flavor.
