Description

This Classic French Apricot Tart recipe is a rustic and elegant dessert made with buttery pastry crust and juicy baked apricots. It is simple, fragrant, and perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2–3 tbsp cold water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 12–14 apricots
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prepare tart dough and chill.
  2. Roll and blind bake crust.
  3. Mix apricots with sugar and lemon.
  4. Arrange on crust.
  5. Bake until golden and soft.
  6. Brush with glaze and cool.

Notes
