Description

My Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls are soft, fluffy, and filled with a luscious cream cheese-cinnamon mixture. Perfect for cozy breakfasts, brunch, or sweet treats that bring family together.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • ¾ cup whole milk, warmed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour gradually. Knead 8–10 mins.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–2 hrs.
  4. Mix cream cheese, softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  5. Roll dough into 12×16-inch rectangle.
  6. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough.
  7. Roll tightly, pinch seam, slice into 12 rolls.
  8. Place in greased baking dish, cover, let rise 30–45 mins.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake 25–30 mins until golden.
  10. Drizzle glaze made from powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla (optional).

Notes

Warm milk gently to bloom yeast. Use softened cream cheese for smooth filling. Store in airtight container 2 days; reheat 15–20 sec in microwave.
