- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

- ½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- Butter, for greasing the dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish with butter.
- Tear croissants into bite-sized pieces and place in the dish.
- Whisk eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle cheese over croissants; add bacon and spinach if using.
- Pour egg mixture over croissants, gently pressing to coat.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until eggs set and top is golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
