- 4 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Slice cucumbers thinly and place in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with salt and let sit 10 minutes.
- Drain and pat dry.
- Mix sour cream, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add chopped dill and stir.
- Combine cucumbers and onion with dressing.
- Toss gently until coated.
- Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Add garlic for extra flavor. Best served fresh and chilled.
