- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook noodles as directed if not using no-boil.
- Sauté onion and garlic; brown meat, add sauce and seasoning.
- Mix ricotta and egg until creamy.
- Layer noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce; repeat. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 30–35 min until bubbly.
- Let rest 10–15 min before slicing.
Notes
Use no-boil noodles for convenience. Add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition. Assemble ahead for easier dinner prep.
