- 3 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Slice cucumbers and red onion thinly.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, dill, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add cucumbers and onion to the dressing.
- Toss gently until evenly coated.
- Chill for 15–20 minutes before serving.
- Stir and serve fresh.
Notes
Salt cucumbers beforehand to reduce excess water. Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter option. Store in the fridge and consume within 2 days.
