Description

Easy Homemade Pigs in a Blanket are soft crescent dough rolls wrapped around mini sausages, baked to golden perfection. Perfect for family gatherings, parties, or cozy snacks, these little bites are simple, delicious, and full of love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 12 mini cocktail sausages
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: sesame or poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Separate crescent roll dough into triangles; cut in half if needed.
  3. Place a mini sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll to the tip.
  4. Place rolls seam-side down on tray.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle seeds if desired.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use chilled sausages for easier rolling. Add a pinch of smoked paprika for extra flavor. Freeze unbaked rolls for up to 1 month. Reheat in oven for best texture; avoid microwaving.
