Description

Easy Mini Pigs in a Blanket are cozy, buttery, bite-sized treats perfect for parties, brunch, or family nights. These golden delights are simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser, with optional cheese and seeds for extra flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 24 mini cocktail sausages
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and cut each triangle into smaller triangles.
  3. Place a mini sausage on the wide end of each triangle; add cheese if desired.
  4. Roll the dough over the sausage and pinch edges to seal.
  5. Place wrapped sausages on baking sheet and brush with egg wash; sprinkle seeds if using.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Chill dough slightly for easier handling. Egg wash gives a shiny, golden finish. Serve with dips like ketchup, mustard, or sriracha mayo. Make-ahead option: assemble and refrigerate, bake fresh when needed.
