Description

These Easy One-Bowl Matcha Brownies are fudgy, chocolaty, and infused with earthy matcha. Perfect for a cozy treat, they come together in a single bowl for a mess-free, easy dessert that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder (culinary grade)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa, matcha, and salt. Fold into wet mixture gently.
  5. Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  6. Pour batter into pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes; toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

Sift matcha to avoid clumps. Fold gently for fudgy texture. Store in airtight container; freeze for later enjoyment.
