Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 min until frothy.
  2. Mix melted butter, sugar, salt, and eggs in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture, then flour.
  3. Knead dough 5 min until smooth. Roll into 16×12-inch rectangle.
  4. Spread softened butter over dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  5. Roll tightly, pinch seam, cut into 12 rolls. Place in greased pan.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 min until golden.
  7. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

Optional: Add nutmeg to filling for extra warmth. Store rolls in airtight container for 2 days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in oven or microwave for soft, warm rolls.
