- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp milk, as needed
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let foam 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter and eggs; whisk.
- Stir in flour and salt; knead 8–10 minutes.
- Let dough rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
- Roll dough into 16×12 inch rectangle.
- Spread softened butter; sprinkle cinnamon-sugar.
- Roll tightly; cut into 12 rolls.
- Place in pan; let rise 30–45 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes.
- Beat frosting ingredients; spread on warm rolls.
Notes
Warm milk activates yeast; don’t overheat. Softened butter ensures gooey filling. Store in airtight container; reheat gently.
