- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 250g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 30g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: 100g chocolate chips or chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment.
- Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Fold in sifted flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Add optional chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
