- 200g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder, sifted
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100g white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F), line 8×8 inch pan with parchment.
- Melt butter, stir in brown sugar.
- Cool slightly, whisk in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Sift matcha into wet mixture, fold gently.
- Add flour and salt, fold until combined.
- Fold in white chocolate.
- Pour into pan, smooth top.
- Bake 25–30 mins; edges set, center slightly underbaked.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Sift matcha for smooth batter. Avoid overmixing flour to keep fudgy texture. White chocolate chunks create pockets of melty bliss. Store in airtight container, or freeze for longer shelf life.
