Description

This garlic asparagus mushroom pasta is creamy, flavorful, and comforting. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, it combines tender pasta with sautéed mushrooms, crisp asparagus, and fragrant garlic in a rich, velvety sauce.


Ingredients

  • 250g pasta
  • 1 bunch asparagus, chopped
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200ml cooking cream
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Red chili flakes, optional
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan.
  3. Sauté onions until soft.
  4. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Add mushrooms and cook until golden.
  6. Add asparagus and cook until tender-crisp.
  7. Pour in cream and simmer gently.
  8. Stir in parmesan until melted.
  9. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  10. Add pasta and toss well.
  11. Add pasta water if needed.
  12. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Use fresh asparagus for best flavor. Avoid overcooking vegetables to maintain texture. Reheat with a splash of cream. Mushrooms can be substituted with your favorite variety.
