Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy; add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour until combined.
- Press half dough into pan; layer with strawberries tossed in cornstarch.
- Drop remaining dough over strawberries.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Chill dough 20 minutes for thicker crust. Use fresh strawberries for best flavor. Freeze squares individually for up to 2 months. Serve warm or slightly chilled.
