Description

Gooey Strawberry Treats are soft, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth desserts perfect for family gatherings and cozy afternoons. The buttery crust and juicy strawberries create a comforting, irresistible treat everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until creamy; add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Mix in flour until combined.
  5. Press half dough into pan; layer with strawberries tossed in cornstarch.
  6. Drop remaining dough over strawberries.
  7. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Chill dough 20 minutes for thicker crust. Use fresh strawberries for best flavor. Freeze squares individually for up to 2 months. Serve warm or slightly chilled.
