- ¼ cup sugar (for syrup)
- 2 tbsp water

Instructions
- Simmer strawberries with sugar and water until syrup thickens. Blend if desired.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently, leaving small lumps.
- Heat skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
- Pour batter into heart molds or shape freehand.
- Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook 1–2 minutes.
- Stack pancakes, pour syrup, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
Notes
Use room-temperature ingredients for fluffier pancakes. Silicone molds help shape perfect hearts. Syrup can be made ahead and stored in the fridge. Freezing pancakes is possible; separate with parchment paper.
