Description

These Homemade Brownies are fudgy, chocolatey, and irresistibly delicious. Perfect for cozy weekends, family treats, or gifting to friends, this recipe is simple, easy, and full of love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g plain flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 100g chopped nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 20cm square tin.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  3. Stir in sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt gently.
  5. Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Pour into tin and smooth top.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until top cracks and skewer comes out slightly moist.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor. Avoid overmixing for fudgy texture. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Slightly underbake for a gooey center.
