Description

These Kid-Friendly Pigs in a Blanket are warm, cozy, and made with simple ingredients families trust. Soft golden dough wrapped around mild mini sausages creates a comforting snack perfect for parties, lunchboxes, or easy family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 mini sausages
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Optional sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into strips.
  3. Place one mini sausage at the end of each strip and roll gently.
  4. Arrange seam-side down on the tray.
  5. Whisk egg with water and brush lightly over each piece.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use mild sausages for younger children. These can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated until baking. Reheat leftovers in the oven for best texture.
