- 200g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 180g all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100g white chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line an 8×8-inch baking tin with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift and fold in flour, matcha, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chunks.
- Pour batter into tin and smooth top.
- Bake 20-25 mins. Cool completely before cutting.
Notes
Use high-quality ceremonial matcha for best flavor. Slightly underbake for fudgy blondies. Store in airtight container at room temp, fridge, or freezer.
