Description

These chewy Matcha White Chocolate Mochi Brownies are a magical treat that blends earthy matcha, creamy white chocolate, and tender mochi texture. Perfect for cozy afternoons or sharing with friends, they’re simple to make and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 120g unsalted butter, melted
  • 150g white chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
  • 200g sweet rice flour (glutinous rice flour)
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100ml milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8 inch pan.
  2. Melt butter and white chocolate, then cool slightly.
  3. Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until frothy.
  4. Fold in melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Sift flour, matcha, and salt, then fold into batter. Add milk if needed.
  6. Pour into pan and top with extra white chocolate chips.
  7. Bake 25–30 mins until edges are set, center slightly wobbly.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Sift matcha for smooth texture. Use high-quality white chocolate for creaminess. Store in an airtight container, refrigerate, or freeze. Perfect served warm with ice cream or tea.
