Description

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  3. Microwave on high for 70–90 seconds until cake springs back lightly.
  4. Mix frosting ingredients until creamy.
  5. Let cake cool slightly, then spread frosting on top and swirl.
  6. Enjoy warm straight from the mug!

Notes

Use a 12 oz mug to avoid overflow. Don’t overmix the batter. Frosting can be made in advance. Add chocolate chips or sprinkles for extra fun.
