Description

These Mini Cheese-Stuffed Pigs in a Blanket are golden, gooey, and perfect for snacks, parties, or cozy family nights. Wrapped in buttery puff pastry with melty cheddar, they’re simple, fun, and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 12 cocktail sausages
  • 12 small cubes cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for serving)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 rectangles.
  3. Place cheese cube on one end of each rectangle.
  4. Lay a cocktail sausage on top of the cheese and roll the pastry around it.
  5. Place seam-side down on the tray.
  6. Brush with beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle seeds if desired.
  8. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Keep puff pastry cold for best puff. Small cheese cubes prevent overflow. Egg wash gives a golden shine. Serve with ketchup or mustard. Make ahead by assembling in fridge and bake fresh.
