These Mini Cheese-Stuffed Pigs in a Blanket are golden, gooey, and perfect for snacks, parties, or cozy family nights. Wrapped in buttery puff pastry with melty cheddar, they’re simple, fun, and irresistible.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 12 cocktail sausages
- 12 small cubes cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for serving)
- 1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 rectangles.
- Place cheese cube on one end of each rectangle.
- Lay a cocktail sausage on top of the cheese and roll the pastry around it.
- Place seam-side down on the tray.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Sprinkle seeds if desired.
- Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Keep puff pastry cold for best puff. Small cheese cubes prevent overflow. Egg wash gives a golden shine. Serve with ketchup or mustard. Make ahead by assembling in fridge and bake fresh.
