Description

This One Bowl Banana Bread is moist, easy, and full of love. Made with ripe bananas, butter, and a touch of vanilla, it’s the perfect cozy treat for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. No mess, no fuss, just deliciousness in every slice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 75g melted unsalted butter
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 190g all-purpose flour
  • Optional: 50g chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Add baking soda and salt, then fold in flour gently.
  5. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness. Avoid overmixing to keep bread tender. Freeze slices for up to 3 months.
