Description

This One Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta is creamy, comforting, and easy to make. Tender chicken, fettuccine, and parmesan cook together in a silky sauce for a quick, indulgent meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 cup broccoli or mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken in butter until golden. Remove.
  2. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add broth and milk, stir to combine.
  4. Add pasta and simmer until nearly tender.
  5. Return chicken and optional vegetables.
  6. Cook until pasta is done and sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in parmesan and nutmeg.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Notes

Use whole milk for creaminess. Simmer gently to avoid sticking. Reheat with milk for leftovers. Add extra vegetables or herbs for variation.
