Description

This Orange Creamsicle Jello Poke Cake is soft, moist, and bursting with nostalgic citrus flavor. Warm cake is poked and soaked with orange jello, then topped with a creamy cream cheese frosting. Perfect for family gatherings, celebrations, or a fun weekend treat, this dessert is both playful and indulgent.


Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients on box)
  • 1 (3 oz) orange Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whipped topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare cake mix per instructions.
  2. Bake in greased 9×13-inch pan; set aside.
  3. Dissolve orange Jello in boiling water.
  4. Poke holes in warm cake and pour jello over.
  5. Refrigerate 2 hours to set.
  6. Beat cream cheese and butter; add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  7. Fold in whipped topping if using.
  8. Spread cream filling over chilled cake.
