- 1 lb (450g) fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim asparagus and place on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss.
- Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Roast for 12–15 minutes, shaking pan halfway through.
- Sprinkle Parmesan over asparagus and return to oven for 2–3 minutes until golden.
- Serve immediately, optionally with lemon wedges.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the pan — space allows even roasting. Freshly grated Parmesan provides the best flavor. Roast at high heat for caramelized, crisp tips. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
