- 1 package mini cocktail sausages (about 24 sausages)
- 1 sheet ready-to-roll puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry to 3mm thickness and cut into small rectangles.
- (Optional) Spread mustard on each sausage.
- Place a sausage on each rectangle and roll up, sealing edges gently.
- Brush each with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
- Arrange on baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Chill pastry before cutting for easier handling. Wrap sausages and refrigerate for make-ahead convenience. Freeze wrapped sausages on a tray, then transfer to a bag; bake from frozen with extra 2–3 minutes. Avoid microwaving to keep pastry crisp.
