Description

These Party-Size Pigs in a Blanket are the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Golden, flaky puff pastry wrapped around mini sausages makes a perfect snack for parties, gatherings, or family nights. Easy to make and always a hit, serve them with your favorite dips for a cozy and delicious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 40 mini sausages or cocktail sausages
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Mustard or ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and trim edges.
  3. Cut each sheet into 20 strips.
  4. Place a mini sausage at the end of each strip and roll to seal.
  5. Arrange on the baking sheet, leaving space between pieces.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving with dips.

Notes

Chill dough slightly before cutting for clean edges. Freeze uncooked pigs in a blanket on a tray, then bake from frozen. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
