Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 12 mini cocktail sausages
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp water
- Optional: sesame or poppy seeds
- Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray.
- Roll out puff pastry slightly; cut into 2–3 cm strips.
- Optional: spread Dijon mustard on pastry.
- Place mini sausage at end of strip and roll up. Seal edges.
- Beat egg with water and brush over pastry.
- Sprinkle seeds if desired.
- Arrange on tray, leaving space to puff.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
- Cool a few minutes and serve warm.
Notes
Keep pastry cold for best puff. Freeze unbaked for up to a month. Reheat in oven to keep crisp.
