- 1 cup asparagus pieces

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place pie crust into pie dish.
- Blanch asparagus for one minute.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl.
- Add cream and milk.
- Mix in seasoning and shallot.
- Spread cheese in crust.
- Add asparagus.
- Pour egg mixture over filling.
- Sprinkle Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use fresh asparagus for best results. Gruyère cheese adds nutty flavor but cheddar works well. Allow the quiche to rest before slicing so the filling sets perfectly.
