- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour, matcha powder, and salt.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
- Slice and serve.
