Description

These soft strawberry sugar cookies are tender, sweet, and full of real strawberry flavor. Perfect for gifting, afternoon tea, or cozy snacking, each bite is a little moment of joy.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberry puree
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, and strawberry puree; mix well.
  3. Whisk dry ingredients separately and fold in.
  4. Fold in optional white chocolate chips.
  5. Chill dough 20–30 minutes.
  6. Scoop dough into 1 1/2-tablespoon balls on lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
  8. Cool 5 minutes, transfer to wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe strawberries for best flavor. Don’t overmix flour to keep cookies soft. Store in airtight container 3 days or freeze dough for later use.
