- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs

- 2½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, sliced
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into wet ingredients.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cake batter in pan, top with cream cheese mixture, and swirl gently.
- Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice, layer on top.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely before slicing.
