- 500g fresh strawberries, hulled and washed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1–2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Hull and wash the strawberries, pat dry gently.
- Place strawberries in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and blend again.
- Taste and add sugar if desired, blending until dissolved.
- Optionally, strain through a fine-mesh sieve for an extra smooth purée.
- Chill in a jar or bowl for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for maximum flavor. Adjust sugar to taste. Purée can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen in ice cube trays.
