- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups (320 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup (120 ml) whole milk
- 1 ½ cups (225 g) fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into batter, alternating with milk.
- Fold in chopped strawberries gently.
- Pour batter into pan, spread evenly.
- Bake 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Use room-temperature ingredients for a smoother batter. Fold in strawberries gently to avoid crushing them. Serve with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or white chocolate drizzle. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
