- 250g caster sugar
- 3 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 20x20cm tray with parchment.
- Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth. Cool slightly.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until pale, add vanilla.
- Fold in chocolate-butter mixture gently.
- Sift and fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Do not overmix.
- Fold in nuts if using.
- Pour into tray and smooth top.
