Description

Triple Layer Matcha White Chocolate Brownies are decadent, fudgy, and layered with creamy white chocolate and earthy green tea flavor. Perfect for tea time, dessert, or a cozy homemade treat, these brownies impress with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 oz white chocolate, chopped (middle layer)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (middle layer)
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chunks or chips (topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and 8 oz white chocolate together until smooth.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well.
  5. Fold in vanilla extract and sifted matcha powder, then flour and salt until just combined.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Heat heavy cream until simmering and pour over 6 oz chopped white chocolate; stir until smooth and spread over brownie base.
  8. Spread remaining brownie batter over white chocolate layer and sprinkle with white chocolate chunks.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is set but the center is slightly soft.
  10. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use high-quality matcha for the best flavor and color. Avoid overbaking to maintain fudgy layers. Store in an airtight container up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
