Ingredients
1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into strips
1.5 cups Panko breadcrumbs
0.5 cup All-purpose flour
2 Large eggs, beaten
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil spray
Instructions
Slice chicken breasts into uniform strips.
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess.
Dip the floured strip into the egg wash.
Press the strip firmly into the seasoned panko mixture until fully coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for three minutes.
Place chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space for air circulation.
Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil.
Cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Notes
Ensure the chicken strips are uniform in size for even cooking. For a gluten-free option, use certified gluten-free panko breadcrumbs. Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure maximum crispiness.
