Description
This Best Summer Fruit Salad is fresh, vibrant, and bursting with natural sweetness. I combine juicy seasonal fruits with a light honey-lime dressing to create a refreshing dish that feels like sunshine in every bite. It’s perfect for picnics, brunches, or a healthy dessert everyone loves.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 2 cups watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 mango, diced
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- I wash all the fruits thoroughly and pat them dry.
- I cut strawberries, watermelon, mango, and pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
- I slice the kiwi and halve the grapes.
- I place all the fruits into a large mixing bowl.
- I whisk together lime juice and honey in a small bowl.
- I pour the dressing over the fruit.
- I gently toss everything to combine without crushing the fruit.
- I garnish with fresh mint leaves for extra freshness.
- I chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
I always use ripe, fresh fruit for the best flavor. I adjust the honey depending on how sweet the fruit is. I add bananas only before serving to prevent browning. I store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
