Description

This Focaccia with Cheese is soft, fluffy, and golden baked bread filled with melted mozzarella and cheddar. I make it with simple ingredients and love how it brings warmth and comfort to every table. Perfect for sharing with family or enjoying fresh from the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g strong bread flour
  • 7g instant dry yeast
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 300ml warm water
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 150g mozzarella cheese
  • 100g cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl
  2. Add warm water and olive oil
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic
  4. Let dough rise for 1 hour until doubled
  5. Spread dough on oiled baking tray
  6. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  7. Sprinkle herbs and seasonings
  8. Press dimples into dough surface
  9. Let rest for 30 minutes
  10. Bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes

Notes

Let the dough rise fully for best texture. You can add extra cheese for a richer flavor or use different herbs like thyme or basil. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for freshness.
