Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 cups broccoli florets, fresh and chopped
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Dice chicken breasts into uniform 1-inch cubes.
Wash and trim broccoli into bite-sized florets.
Mince the garlic cloves.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear chicken cubes in a single layer until golden brown on all sides.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
Add broccoli florets and 2 tablespoons of water to the pan; cover and steam for 3 minutes.
Uncover the pan, add butter and garlic, and stir until the butter melts and the garlic is fragrant.
Return chicken to the pan and toss with the broccoli and garlic butter sauce.
Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. You can add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat or grated Parmesan cheese for extra richness.
