The rich, herb-infused garlic butter coating adds a savory depth that elevates fresh sweet corn into a gourmet treat. It is a simple, flavor-packed addition to any barbecue that promises juicy, charred perfection in every bite.
Ingredients
4 cobs fresh corn
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
0.5 tsp kosher salt
0.25 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
Combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well blended. Set aside at room temperature.
Carefully pull back the husks from the corn while keeping them attached at the base, and remove the silk from the cobs.
Re-wrap the corn with the husks to protect the kernels during the initial cook.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (approximately 400°F).
Place the corn directly on the grill grates and cook for 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
Remove the husks, brush the corn generously with the herb butter, and grill for an additional 3 minutes to achieve a nice char.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Ensure you keep the husks attached during the initial phase to prevent the kernels from drying out. You can substitute fresh cilantro or chives for the parsley based on your preference. Leftovers can be cut off the cob and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
